Weekly Update April 23rd to 27th

Greeting Bears Families and Friends:

This week we are celebrating our EARTH!  We have made so many efforts to help our earth and reduce our impact as we continue to head towards our GOLD CERTIFICATION this year and this week is no exception!  You are encouraged to walk to school this Wednesday on WALK TO SCHOOL day.  Also we will be cleaning our school yard and wearing GREEN on Friday to show our support.

On Sunday April 29th, children from our school will be celebrating their First Communion Sacrament in the Catholic faith. We would like to congratulate them and say a great ‘Well Done’ to them and their teachers, parents for their hard work.

We have some exciting events coming up.  First on May 2nd we will have our Walk With Our Police event.  It will begin at 8:50 a.m. at the corner of Borden Parkway and Mill Street.  We will meet here and walk to school. Everyone is welcome to join us!

During Catholic Education Week, our school council will be presenting a Family Science Night.   It will be on Tuesday, May 8th beginning at 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.  Our library will also be open for our annual Book Fair.

This Wednesday, we are asking anyone who would like to help with our year-end BBQ to attend our meeting beginning at 4:00 in the conference room: 2018 BBQ Letter .  Please come out and support your school.
