Week At A Glance October 23rd to 27th

Good Evening,

Tomorrow is a professional development day.  There will be no school for our students.  Staff will be engaged in many aspects of spiritual development workshops throughout the day.

Our annual parent/student/teacher conferences are scheduled for November 8th from 4 to 6 pm and November 9th from 4 to 8 pm. If you haven’t handed in the Parent-Teacher Interview Letter 17-18, please do so by Tuesday, October 24th.

We also would like to welcome L. LaRonde who will be our French Teacher replacing Mme. Bennett.  Mme. Bennett is on a maternity leave.

– Parent/Teacher/Student Interview Forms are due
–  Dress Purple: Speak Up For the Rights of Children: Parents, Staff and Students are invited to wear purple in a show of leadership that Student Voice is important to our community.
– Homework Club 8:00 a.m.
– Great Lakes Presentation

Wednesday, October 25th                Happy Early Childhood Educator Day
– Wear your St. Bernadette school colours (blue and yellow) Spirit Wear Day
– St. Joseph visit: Father Brian Gr. 2 and Gr. 2/3
– Pizza Day – choice of pepperoni/cheese or cheese pizza – thank you volunteers!
– Shades Mill Trip: Gr. 4/5 Yorke and Gr. 6 Kunkel
– Homework Club 8:00 a.m.
– Rosary Circle at 2:15 Library – thanks Mrs. McKay!

Thursday, October 26th
Homework Club 3:45 p.m.
– Treasure Books Campaign Ends Today – thank you for your support
– Raise The Bar Conference: Mrs. Cowan and the Intramural Leadership Team will be attending this full day training conference.

Friday, October 27th

Homework Club 8:00 a.m.
– Settlement Worker Tad is at our school
– University of Waterloo Team Up – Gr. 5/6 Baillie
– Field Trip:  Schneider House – Gr. 2/3 Reuter and Gr. 3 Sullivan
