Week At A Glance Nov. 13th to 17th

Good Evening
This week marks “Anti-Bullying Week” at our school.  Here at St. Bernadette, your children’s teachers have many activities planned that will continue to discourage bullying throughout our school community and encourage a sense of togetherness and belonging, one that we have been working diligently throughout the past years.  In keeping with our theme this year “We Can Make A Difference and Manners Matter,” we have been working hard on recognizing the many gifts and talents that our students and staff possess and using them to make our school community a better place to be.  As we use the opportunity of Anti-bullying to focus on the words of John Paull II “… a person’s rightful due is to be treated as an object of love, not as an object for use”, we are clearly being challenged to go beyond simply NOT bullying someone and move to the greater challenge of treating others with dignity and respect.  This is our focus, this is our challenge and this is the message that we have been given loud and clear.  What can you do about our challenge this week and throughout your life to demonstrate dignity and respect for all people.

This Thursday afternoon, our students and staff will be dancing away.  Please support our school by getting as many pledges as you can.  We are also taking prizes for our prize table.  Please support our school.
